The Calendar is its own dedicated section in TidyJot, accessible by clicking Calendar in the left navigation sidebar. It gives you a full month-by-month view of your journaling history and tasks — all laid out visually by date.
Think of the Calendar as your bird's-eye view. Instead of scrolling through a list of entries, you can see at a glance which days you journaled, how you were feeling, and what tasks were on your plate — all in one place.
What you'll see on the Calendar:
Journal entry chips — colored blocks on each date showing the title of any journal entry written that day (truncated if long). Green chips are for general entries; blue/purple chips are for planning-type entries.
Task chips — tasks scheduled for a date appear as additional chips below the journal entry, also truncated
Task completion counter — a small counter (e.g., ⊙ 0/2) shows how many tasks are done for that day
Mood indicators — an emoji icon in the top corner of each date shows the AI-detected mood for that day's journal entry (😊 good, 😐 neutral, 😟 stressed, 💗 very positive)
Today's date — highlighted with a dark border so you always know where you are
Empty dates — days with no entries or tasks show as blank cells
💡 Tip: The Calendar is a great way to spot journaling gaps — if you see a stretch of blank days, that's a nudge to get back to your practice.
