Reading Mood Indicators on the Calendar

One of the most useful features of the Calendar is being able to see your mood patterns visually — without opening a single entry.

Each date that has a journal entry shows a mood emoji in the top corner of the date cell. This emoji is determined by TidyJot's AI, which analyzes the tone and language of your entry when you save it.

Mood emoji guide:

Emoji

Mood

What it typically means

😊

Good / Happy

Positive, upbeat tone in the entry

😐

Neutral

Mixed or even-keeled tone

😟

Stressed / Low

Negative, overwhelmed, or anxious tone

💗

Very Positive

Highly enthusiastic or joyful tone

Scanning a month at a glance lets you spot patterns — a run of 😟 might signal a stressful stretch, while a week of 💗 shows when things were really clicking. This is the same data that powers the Mood Flow chart on your Dashboard, just in calendar form.

💡 Tip: If you don't see a mood emoji on a date, it means either no journal entry exists for that day, or the entry was saved with Don't Analyze selected, which skips AI mood detection.
