Clicking into a Date

Clicking on any date in the Calendar opens a date detail panel — a popup that gives you a focused view of everything on that day.

The date detail panel shows:

  • The date as a header (e.g., "Monday, April 20")

  • A green banner that says "✓ Journal entry exists for this day — Click to view" if a journal entry was written that day. Clicking the banner opens the full entry.

  • If no entry exists for that day, the banner is absent — you can still add tasks from here.

  • An Add Task field — type a task and click the + button to add it directly to that date

  • A list of any existing tasks scheduled for that day, including tasks tagged "From Diary" (shown in yellow) that were AI-extracted from a journal entry

This panel makes it easy to quickly add tasks to a specific date or check in on what was happening on any given day — without leaving the Calendar view.

💡 Tip: Use the date detail panel to add tasks to future dates. Just click on an upcoming date and type your task directly into the Add Task field.
